Finished kitchen remodel with light wood cabinets, white quartz counters and a farmhouse sink

Built to a Higher
Standard.

Family-owned and owner-run. From framing and decks to drywall, kitchens, baths and finish carpentry — one crew that takes a project from the studs all the way to the last piece of trim.

What we do

One crew, the whole build.

Most jobs touch a half-dozen trades. We carry them under one roof, so you're not chasing five different contractors to finish one room.

01

Framing & Additions

Walls, structural changes, bump-outs and new builds — squared, level and built to last.

02

Decks, Patios & Outdoor Living

Decks, covered patios, steps and railings in wood or low-maintenance composite.

03

Drywall & Finishing

Hang, tape, mud and texture — clean walls and ceilings ready for paint.

04

Kitchen & Bath Remodels

Cabinets, counters, tile and fixtures, from a refresh to a full gut-and-rebuild.

05

Basement Finishing

Turn raw basement space into living space — framing, flooring, doors and lighting.

06

Finish Carpentry & Built-ins

Trim, shelving, feature walls, fireplaces and custom built-ins done by hand.

07

Doors, Windows & Trim

Patio doors, French doors, windows and barn doors — swapped, fit and finished.

08

Painting

Interior and exterior painting, plus cabinets and trim refinished to a clean, lasting finish.

09

Tile Work

Backsplashes, showers and floors — tile set, leveled and grouted clean.

10

Odds & Ends

The punch-list, repairs and "can you also…" jobs. Just about everything but the concrete.

How a project comes together

Before. Built. Finished.

We document the work at every stage — because the part you don't see, the framing and the prep, is what makes the finish hold up. Two real projects, start to finish.

The family behind Quality Midwest Handyman
Our story

A family business, built on referrals.

Quality Midwest Handyman started the way a lot of good things do — one person who could fix just about anything, and neighbors who kept telling other neighbors. What began as odd jobs grew into full remodels, decks, basements and additions across Elkhorn, Omaha and Bennington.

We're still family-owned and owner-run. That means the person who quotes your project is the same person on the tools and the one who answers when you call. We treat every home — whether it's a small repair or a high-end remodel — like it's our own.
